Piolo and Sarah have both proven once again that they deserve their Box Office King and Queen titles, respectively. The Breakup Playlist opened strongly with 15 million pesos in the box office on its first day of showing. It was initially shown in only 180 cinemas nationwide, but because of the positive feedback and box office results, the number has since increased to 220.
