She said it was just a joke. But somehow, why did it sound like there's truth to it? Well, anyways, Sarah Geronimo is always so cute and candid when she pulls those "hugot" lines about her love life.
Coach Sarah did not turn her chair for 11-year-old Cebuano, Paul Abellana, who sang Bruno Mars' "Marry You." She explained that, although the boy's rendition was flawless and his voice sounds clean, she found it lacking in (emotions from the) "heart." Maybe, she said, it's because he is not yet ready to get married. Sarah went on to quip, "Ako lang ang handa na (magpakasal)! Hindi, Joke!"
Watch Sarah Geronimo joking that she is ready to get married!
Coach Lea Salonga, likewise said that she was looking for a total letting go of emotions without any inhibitions. She agreed with Sarah that there were no problems with regards to Paul's voice and diction. She said the only thing lacking was the feeling of wanting to "do something crazy," which was what the song is all about.
Coach Bamboo was the only one who turned for Paul, which he did almost at the last minute. He said it took him a while to turn because he was looking for the "fire" in the song, which he promises to teach in Camp Kawayan.
